TOMBOY TOOLS® is a tool and home improvement company for women, by women, providing a unique range of  tools for home improvement projects. Our primary business is to provide the highest quality tools and techniques to women, empowering them to become confident and competent homeowners through our In-Home Workshops - Tool Parties!

In the beginning, we were just a group of women working on various home improvement projects that got together to lament the fact that retail hand tools and those warehouse workshops don't work for us. The simple fact is that most hardware companies are antiquated in their approach to women. Most figure that in order to appeal to women, you just take a tool made for a man and make it pink. Hello!
We do have a pink range but this was born out of our desire to support a breast cancer charity , rather than reinforcing stereotypes.
Our company is very different from the run of the mill home improvement retailers. We advocate education and have an internal culture that supports women in becoming confident, competent homeowners--our new definition of TOMBOY!

Our Tool Parties and workshops reinforce our tell-show-do-feedback approach to home improvement projects. We tell you how it's done, show you how to do it, give you a chance to try it yourself and then provide feedback so you can recreate the project in your own home.
